Teacher’s Assistant for AP Chemistry and AP Calculus AB. I taught labs for 20 to 30 students, graded homework and exams, and tutored students in both one-on-one and group environments.
Planned Parenthood. Tustin, CA. May 2006-April 2007
Volunteer. I helped organize the “No on Prop 85” campaign in Fall 2006. I also taught workshops on contraception and feminine health for teens of lower income families.
Fairmont Preparatory Academy. Anaheim, CA. January-June 2007
Teacher. I helped develop a combined Algebra II, Trigonometry and Geometry class for advanced 8th grade students who were to progress into AP Calculus AB in 9th grade. I lectured twice a week to 16 students, and wrote and administered all exams.

Teacher. I taught pre-algebra and algebra as summer school workshops for 10-15 junior high students. In the algebra class, the students learned everything from linear equations to the domains of functions, which is normally not taught until pre-calculus. In these workshops, I wrote all lectures, exams, and homework assignments.

Webmaster. I designed and maintain the website for the restaurant Peppercorns in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada.

Webmaster/editor. I designed and maintain the Awaaz website, as well as edit the topics that come through to the blog. I apply a neutral perspective to news pieces, and moderate comments to create a safe, common space for all opinions.
